It’s your worst nightmare: The dog days of summer have hit hard and your vehicle’s air conditioner isn’t working.

At Neutz & Tudor, technicians will check your vehicle’s A/C performance by visually inspecting for signs of freon leakage and other issues that may cause adverse performance.

What is “freon”? Freon is the liquid/gaseous refrigerant substance that keeps your air conditioner blowing cold.

Your A/C system is comprised of many components (including the compressor, condenser, and several hoses) that freon travels through to cool your vehicle’s cabin. Over time, these components may begin to leak. When freon levels become too low, your air conditioning system will blow warm/hot air. It is a good idea, especially if you have children, to get your air conditioning inspected at the beginning of each summer season.
